The fog could have formed because of the cooling down of the temperature (you mentioned earlier that it was very hot and damp)....When taking the pictures the camera is trying to focus on something...."Go back and sleep there" Moe When you went back did you retrieve your tripod? Mortary-means the place they keep the dead bodies before the funeral (the same as mortuary).... Be safe!

Moe you should do an overnight challenge in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. they say its one of the most haunted mysterious places on earth. id even be willing to go with you me and my wife that is. is so scary that even the locals refuse to go into the mountains unarmed let alone by themselves or overnight.
