One Correction - 4:26 that explosion wont result in a white dwarf,but will straight away destroy that huge star itself due to extreme radiation which will not be counter balanced by gravity(which is how a stable star operates). White Dwarfs are instead the products or remnants of low mass stars like the Sun,and not of high mass stars.

I didn’t understand the theoretical limit of size of a black hole. Isn’t black hole anything that has event horizon around it? So any object with event horizon regardless of the mass will always be a black hole.

Not everything ,,,like black hole has some special character like ,mass more than Jupiter maybe ,dense /high gravity ,,,we can't say anything a black if it only has an event horizon right ! it has to have the other characters which I can't remember rn sorry fot that,hope it helped a bit

I searched it up on the internet ans most of the places it’s like “A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out” and there seems no upper limit to the mass of a black hole. As we won’t be able to perceive beyond the event horizon and won’t exactly know how it works so till then shouldn’t anything that has event horizon be called a black hole?
