A "safety" feature that prevents your car moving if it detects someone on the bonnet? That's not a safety feature, it's a possible death trap if someone has ill intent.

@@cynthiacatnott9012 That's pure disadvantages. Some drugged up lunatic is jumping on your car and now, rather than drive away to safety, you better 1. Know martial arts and be insanely good at them, or 2. Be armed. Because otherwise you're fucked. TERRIBLE feature. As if Australia wasn't dangerous enough for their bugs and kangaroos.

Yep. I was looking to replace my rig a few years ago. One of the ones I was looking at, the anti-collision system can't deal with the sensor being covered in snow or mud. At the time I lived in a state where more than half the roads weren't paved so they turn to mud in the spring, and a foot or more of snow happens every other week. Too safe, it's a hazard.

@@minimaladjacent When I was 12 I called 911 on my dad for raping me. The cops showed up and were laughing it up with my dad on "how hard it is to raise a teenage girl" then wished my dad a 'good day' and drove away. Useless cops. I learned many years later of things like a rape kit. If that had been done, they would have gotten all the evidence they needed. Think of all those little children/teenagers of color who go missing. Nobody bats an eye, the media only wants us to see certain things and care about certain things. Or what about the adults with mental illness who go missing? Nobody cares unless you're pretty, white, or did something like go viral on social media. Everybody's case is worth solving! if kids were taught in schools the red flags of abuse, and to better their self esteem the narcissists would have less targets like her. I've seen too many ppl I love get wrapped up w idiots, and I didn't want that to happen to me. btw 1 in 5 cops that attend a domestic call are abusers themselves. the cops in the gabby's case were lovey dovey w HIM bc "you know how girls are, lol". THEY should have been the ones to SEE what was actually happening, and not be his bff. she might be alive if they actually did something. OR like WHY ppl want to defund cops is to give money to crisis workers to intervene in such situations. mental health issues... the person usually ends up dead...not just in the usa but canada as well. our neighbours kid had their friend blown away by a cop bc he was having a mental problem with a knife in his hand.

I remember the Gaby Petito story i followed it from beginning to end so far. When Brian strangled Gaby he called his parents and told them Gaby was gone. They made a plan, he come home the family took one last camping trip and Brian went off to the nature reserve with a backpack. He wrote some stupid confession that Gaby was in constant pain and that's why he took her life then he shot himself... coward that he was. All the while the entire Laundry family lied to Gabys families that they didn't know anything.

Interestingly, the U.K has some of the oldest Sasquatch reports. Often going by a myriad of different names, but categorically the same behaviour is present. They have been recorded in Celtic history as well as Yorkshire folklore for centuries. Danes Dyke and Bempton Cliffs (near Hull, up north) are hotspots for reports, however most sightings are in Scotland and Wales. The reports are rare in the U.K as we don't have the same land mass, but we do have large national parks and a vast underground cave network. Most Sasquatch/Woodwose encounters have been around these areas, usually at dusk or just before dawn.
