Aamir Sohail was in form in 1999, but he was deliberately kept out of 99 cup squad, by corrupt Wasim Akram, because he knew Aamir Sohail is not the man who will dance to his tunes, also Sohail and Rashid Latif had openly talked about corruption during Sharjah cup in 1998. Hence, Aamir Sohail and Javed Maindad two outspoken honest, and who played their heart out for Pakistan were successfully kept out. Cricket is much different than soccer, and it gives you one whole day to make decisions, keeping in view of the performance of each of the player, and the Chairman PCB after getting dropped out from the World Cup ’99, would be unaware of the match fixing thingy, I am unable to digest it. I think my stomach is not working fine. Taking players in the court, and getting decision about them being guilty and get scot free by himself is injustice. Selectors, Coaches, and Chairmen of the Pakistan Cricket Board are paid huge salaries. They get other benefits, and enjoy foreign trips with their family members, even then they are negligent, and unable to perform their duties at all. In future, the Cricket Board should reject any of the family members and/or friends of those who are involved in match fixing, spot fixing or anything illegal.

A day after 1999 WC final, next morning I was watching BBC news with my dad and in the morning show there, a Pakistani cricket personality was invited (I don't remember his name). BBC anchor asked him about the coming news that one of the Pakistani prominent player (he didn't name but it was Ejaz Ahmed) was found to be in the night club just a night before WC final match to which the guest couldn''t give a satisfactory answer. I still remember that talk. So it's true Pakistani players have been largely involved in match fixing for a long long time. The only thing for us is to admit it. If we don't, may be it doesn't matter. But if we do, may be some thing can be done.

Sir PJ one can say alot on this matter of match fixing but as said by Sir Amir Sohail that if we would only keep on talking this rubbish will keep coming in the future. So I suggest that all those players who played for Pakistan national cricket team, as you said wearing a green blazer with flag badge on it, if are involved in any way in the match fixing must be punished according to the law regardless of there records and status as a cricketer. According to Sir Amir Sohail our system is weak so I suggest for that we need a thorough structural reform of our cricket board. Instead of appointing technocrats or business men the real genuine gentlemen from the cricketing fraternity should be given the responsibility to run the board. These players should also realize that selling a country name is just like selling a mother's name. Those who have been involved are the most disgusting characters. Shame on them.
