Really the only criticism I have is sometimes him opening his hips way too early off the line of scrimmage, where he gets beat on slants/outs. That won't fly in the NFL on the outside, so his technique overall at the line of scrimmage in press man can use some more coaching. But the way he plays the ball pops off the screen, and the way he plays the run is awesome. What a great fit for my Lions, excited for his potential.

@@kcorey11kc that’s great, but we are already a top 3 run defense, it’s the 30th ranked pass defense that is hopefully improved lol

Plays the game the right way, but a bit unpolished in man coverage. Doesn't have that special type of athleticism and/or size that the best corners have (Revis, Ramsey, Pat Pete, Gilmore, etc), but he is well rounded athletically. I noticed the exact same thing as another commenter, he opens his hips very early into a route, facing them completely upfield. This leaves him susceptible to comeback routes, slants, outs.
