@@princessamal5959 Hi, a little update: so I blow dried my hair and did a trim 4 months ago...I couldnt find a style to wear my blow dried hair. I only wore 1 style for 1 month and got bored with it. So the plan was to wear it blow dried for 2 weeks and then curly for 1-2 weeks and then blow dried again but I wasnt consistent with it. At this moment its curly. I'll blow dry it again tomorrow and do a trim. Curly or blow dried my ends are still splitting and breaking off (less then before but still too much) which is very frustrating...I really don't know what I'm supposed to do now. After my last trim my hair grew back to the length it was but stays at the same length because of the breakage😪 Yesterday Ive started taking vitamin gummy for hair nails and skin to see how my body would react to it. Yeah, This is my sad update😅

I blow dry my hair every wash day and absolutely love how easy it is to keep it soft and moisturized while styled. I use the dyson dryer with the comb attachment. It has controllable heat settings and the comb is amazing it doesn't snag my hair type 4 hair. I use a mane choice tropical sealing cream to do two pig tail braids or bantu knots and when i wake up i have a gorgeous style that is soft, shiny, and requires no flat iron. Those little twists and braids on my natural hair is a hot mess, my hair gets ridiculously dry and knotted after a few days and is unmanageable. Cheers to black women living by our own accord and doing what we want with our own hair.

Excellent results! I'm 4c and the longer it gets the more it's tangling at the ends. The ends need constant trimming. I have been heat free for 5 years but I think stretching my hair with at least a blow out will make it more manageable. It's just time to switch it up. I just want my afro to bounce back and not get heat damage. I'm kind of on the fence. Heatfree stretching takes my hair days to dry. Do what they need to do to put it in a state that they are happy with andand they can live their life, but I am a sellout and must have my hair in it’s most natural state, at all times! I am not allowed to live my life, according to how I see fit, I’m not allowed to have any domain over my own hair at any time ever it must always be a specific texture for the cause!
