it was a perfect scene for a perfect drug at the time.It was what was needed in the uk as every club pre-shoom was playing rare groove and the same set of people attended week in week out.Well put Terry forever the observer and manipulater of social climate.

@@savinecycles How mad is this? I havent looked at these comments since I wrote that and you post a week ago? I'm in touch with Dean Thatcher again. I'm trying to compile a Flying top 20 tunes (specifically the Soho Theatre nights) I've got way more than 20 on my list but always looking for new ones (if you can remember!) I listened to Ethereal Beat "can you understand" the other day and it gave me goose bumps.

Mattie Mclean so many great tunes.....Rozzella Everybody’s Free the b side mix with long accappella intro, Weatherall’s Bomba remix was one that blasted me away, Ragged Jack Party’s Over Flying mix, holding hands with people dancing to Sister Sledge we are family. My 52 year old brain is having problems to remember.

Went there all the time with a bunch of mates, including my missus who I'm still with. Ali and Karen on the door, queue down the alley, dressed in clothes we couldn't really afford. We got on the guest list eventually cos my mate got the stationary supply contract for Flying Records :) Absolutely magic.

@@chriskirby2372 Nice! I remember Karen snogging my face off on the dance floor one night and after about 20 mins/ half hour my mate said "You know that's Charlie Chesters missus?" I had no idea! I told her I wasn't comfortable with it and she said "fuck it he don't care!" and he was swaying around on the dance floor with his hair down having the time of his life! Mad times
