He’s a good friend of mine I’ve known since I was a youngin. I used to play out in the yard with one of his boys. We were next door neighbors for probably 15 years or better. I even got to jam a little with him once or twice. He’s good people and I’m so happy for him and all his success. He deserves it!

Yeah the man ain't playing. Is he telling you how it was back in his day? So if it was like that back then and I mean you know all the old men back then had a harmonica like you say sitting out on the porch and they just bust something like what he just did just out of nowhere. You know what I'm saying that is good classical beauty blues.

This brings back some memories. Grew up on the Bama line, close to The Toc where he from. Good muzik might not always be on the radio, but it could always be found in a local nightclub, festival, coffe house, or backporch! Just listening to him talk soothes my soul, sounds like home!

as a really good banjo player told me after he had repaired an old banjo I'd got from a rummage sale when I said the same to him after he played my banjo to show me it was all in good working order - "20-30 years of practicing as much as I have and you could probably play like that too"

This is real music the Grammy Awards should be ashamed of themselves here it is real musicians playing real music that is being ignored by mainstream TV and radio this man deserves a Grammy they need to stop showing the Jay-Z's Beyonce Snoop Dogg Lil Wayne and the rest of these rappers who don't have a clue of where music began go to Grammy's. Com and demand them to show more Talent like Terry harmonica Bean Cedric Burnside RL Boyce homemade Jamz Blues Band and many others I am tired of seeing the same old artist every year time to show new Talent on the Grammys and American Music Awards

In no known universe is this terrible. This is the blues, if you think this is terrible then you don't like the blues. Go away.
@vvoof26015 ай бұрын
@@anthonywilson7304 I'd argue it's more about different musical taste than culture. For example, A LOT of europeans like blues.
