Amanda did a lot of questionable shit in the name of "homeland security" and not justifying but if we lived in a world where dude's could one shot the planet, we might want to have some insurance in place but still, altering Terry's dad's DNA, likely causing his parents divorce(two red heads bearing black haired, BLUE EYED children) yeah.

Id love a continuation of Batman Beyond when Bruce Wayne has passed away, since Kevin Conroy passed away & no-one should take over as the voice. Terry now grown and in his mid 30's - early 40's. His version is married to Dana.

Amanda Waller really had a lot of faith. Even though Terry shares Bruce's DNA, she was confident that Terry would end up like Bruce. For a lot characters, that amount of trauma would make them villains.

One of the interesting things about Terry's physical differences compared to Bruce is that strength for him wasn't as important as dexterity. With the suit Terry is stronger than Bruce even if he lacked naturally powerful upper body strength... meaning that he was probably better off at age 16 than when he bulked up years later. Bruce Lee was a supreme example of maintaining a light build and yet being able to perform 100+ pushups or pull ups because of having a high strength to weight ratio. Terry would have been much better off training in such a manner.

Loved Batman beyond series was chief kiss. In the comics Terry and Matt ended living with Bruce in one run after their mom died. Terry and Dana broke up then he started dating Melanie. Matt actually did become Robin then almost got killed by the joker.

I loved the Splice ep…. *if I was to make a Bat Beyond film, I would have Bruce use his DNA and have scientist construct a offspring that would be engineered to be his successor with Bruce knowing he won’t be able to continue crime-fighting. Bruce also creates Terry’s little brother who eventually becomes Cardinal. A sidekick similar to Robin that wears Red and has a Jetpack. Blight would be a huge drug dealer that’s taken over new Gotham. I would have Cardinal become drugged by Blight and become super addicted but work his way out of it with Diane and Terrys help before taking down Blight

He is definitely less similar than his brother and father. Thats kind of the thing though,Damian as Batman is the closest thing that resembles Bruces Batman. Terry is a different type of Batman,so he isnt as serious and is more casual and normal.

Amanda Waller admits in one of the last episodes of Batman Beyond that the world needs a Batman. So, she was the one that setup Terry's dad getting injected with Bruce DNA.
