How To Use Siri to Control Your Tesla

In today's video, Terry White demonstrates how to harness the power of Siri Shortcuts for controlling your Tesla, thanks to the newest iOS Tesla App features. Learn how to craft your own shortcuts and even operate your Tesla directly from your Apple Watch.
I didn’t show it in the video but there’s nothing stopping you from putting multiple actions in one shortcut. “Lock it up” could close the trunk, lock the doors and enable sentry or dog mode. You could even combine Tesla actions with actions from other apps. Endless possibilities.

Thanks for the video. I am having a heck of a time finding a name for the shortcuts that doesn’t perform some other action. Like every time I say headlights the phones flashlight ones on 😅

Great video, thanks Terry! No problem using the shortcuts on my phone, but when I try using my Apple Watch, it gives me this message: “You’ll need to download an app for your car, or add a car key to the Wallet app”.

For me the shortcuts were not automatically on my watch. The remedy was going to Shortcuts on iPhone, LONG PRESS on the one I want to add to apple watch, tap on "details", toggle on the "Show on Apple Watch" and you're done. Hope this helps.

Hi Terry, great information. I am from Canada and for some reason my shortcut isn't able to find the Tesla app. Now do you need to have the LTE subscription? Or is this feature only available in the US. I just updated my Tesla app version 4.26.2 Thank you
