10:00 Many of the churches I go to believe the same thing. They are so proud of the Trinity. And many of the elders at my church also thinks that unless you believe in the Trinity you are going to hell. But out of respect I just don't say anything to avoid any confrontation.

You say the concept of the Trinity is not in the New Testament, but this is demonstrably false as the scripture several times speaks about a real distinction of Father and Son, yet the scriptures also affirm the divinity of each of the persons.

At least to my first claim I would think that you would have to agree, since you seem to acknowledge the names Father and Son represent real distinctions. From what it seems to me, you place the distinction between them as being one in terms of natures, or humanity and divinity as Pentecostals often say. Yet the Son is never reduced to merely a human nature, but is far beyond any of his creations, as He is divine. Hebrews 1:8-13 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. Dozens of worthless videos then, the first chapter of the Book of Hebrews alone is enough to show that Jesus, the Son, is distinct from God his Father, yet is also divine.

@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa And if we are going to talk about presuppositions then we should really talk about the presupposition that distinction necessarily entails division. Which I see no reason to assume and without this assumption, there are next to no verses that can possibly be used prove a Oneness position.
