FIN: Kaation Martti, Ranta-ahon Johannes, Aumalan Kauko, Huuskon Pertti ja Tervon Matti tekevät tervatynnyrin alusta alkaen Ahovaaran kylällä Kuhmossa kesällä 1986.
Mänty kaadetaan Aumalan metsässä. Mänty sahataan pölkyiksi. Pölkyt halkaistaan laudoiksi. Laudat höylätään ja siistitään. Laudoista asetellaan tynnyri. Tynnyrille tehdään vanteet kuusesta ja vanteet laitetaan paikalleen. Tynnyrin pää vuollaan ja siihen tehdään ura pohjaa varten. Pohja tehdään ja asetetaan suurilla ponnisteluilla paikalleen. Näin saadaan valmis tynnyri.
Touhua ovat seuraamassa Kaltialan Kyösti, Alanteen Oiva, Pienen-Kaation Matti, Ranta-ahon Rauni, pieni tyttö, orava ja sääsket. Kenties joku muukin eläin vilahtaa.

The pine is cut in the forest of farm Aumala. Pine is cut into small logs. Logs are split into boards. The boards are planed and smoothed for their purpose. A barrel is set from the boards. Bands are made from small spruces and set into place. The top of the barrel is carved and a groove is made for the bottom. The bottom is made and after some effort it is placed inside. So we get a finished barrel.
Kyösti Kaltiala, Oiva Immonen, Matti Huotari, Rauni Huusko, a small girl, a squirrel and mosquitos are watching the process. Maybe some other animals are there too.
