I've just learned of this instruments existence, and this video was one of the first that caught my eye - it was absolutely enchanting, phenomenal work! Would you by any chance be covering the Fable temple of light theme somewhere down the line? I think it would lend itself quite well to the sound of the dulcimer 😁

Thank you! Nope, they’re actually unrelated to the playing. My hands get cold easily (I believe I have Raynaud’s syndrome) so I just wear them all the time in the winter 😊. This is an older video and I’ve since started taking them off when recording

@@angelaparker4110 it’s all personal preference 🙂. Some people like the soft sound, I’ve always preferred the hard wood sound. In this video I start with a sliiightly softer tone and then flip to the hard side of the hammers
