Beautifully done! idk why but some scenes remind me of Interstellar! For a second I thought this was their official commercial, then I remembered Tesla doesn't spend any money on advertising. Tesla is so awesome to the point that the customers are making their own commercials for it. This is unprecedented for any other brand.

This video made a couple tears fall. I never even thought of this until this view... although we are a few years away from a true near perfect completely safe auto pilot, the fact that knowing someone who is visually impaired or completely blind being able to get into a Tesla and go anywhere someday is truly amazing. What a great time to be alive. Elon is the greatest human of our time.

Troy Nikolic it will be heat sooner then u think. I went to a Tesla show room and sat in the model 3 and got to ask some questions. The guy who was answering my questions said he knew someone who works close with the self driving team who told him that he believes tesla will be fsd 3 years from now! I said really? And he said yes. Then I told him a dream that I had. Then I told him I had a talk with god about my future and that he told me you will have it when u have a car. I said go when will this take place and he told me when I was 33 and I’m turning 30 in November! So I hope it happens soon!

Autonomous driving will, for the first time in human history, permit blind people to "drive". The WHO estimated in 2012 that there were 285 million visually impaired people in the world. There are at least 3.4 million in the USA alone. Tesla is working extremely hard to make full autonomous driving a reality, as soon as possible.

I love how it's focused on the people instead of the car, and what an autonomous car from Tesla can do to help give someone who is blind their freedom. I'm hoping that my aging parents can take advantage of an autonomous car when the day comes and they can no longer drive. It won't be long as my Dad's eyesight is getting worse and my Mom's shoulder is pretty much shot.

its easy, IF we reach this Level of autonomous. The car itself and its insurance will be the fault. Why should there be a difference from a person ? The point is, the car will make far less faults then a human. There will be always accidents. But in the end who cares if its gonna be much more safe then before. Of course we need an company that will give all this cars their insurance. But thats just a thing which need to be cleared. Nothing big.
@humanbeing-0016 жыл бұрын
Good Point, Ewald. I Guess people would always get accustomed to walking near self driving vehicles anyway. Like make sure it sees you and make sure it doesn't accelerate at you when you walking in front of it. We Humans must be careful until everything is worked out foolproof, and only then can we completely submit to our Boston Dynamics, AI Robot, smart grid overlords. Haha! Can't wait ! Jokes aside, but the future is headed in that direction. "Super" designer babies from gene editing. You want a super smart, super strong and super healthy and attractive child with blue eyes? Pay up. ok, can't afford that? You will just have a regular child who will never be able to compete with the new super humans. Robots mixed with human bodies. Brains mixed with computers.. It's all happening right now. And YOU and I are just not apart of it. The worlds richest war profiteers and billionaires will get to enjoy the "benefits" of being in control of this super technology and therefore in control of us mortals. And on levels even Orwell himself couldn't have imagined. @davidlouys39525 жыл бұрын
Whoever made this is extremely talented. But I don't like when companies hijack human emotions like empathy (towards people with disabilities for instance) in order to sell their products. I mean think about it. That's all advertising is : trigger emotions in your brain and then show their product, hoping that you (mistakenly) connects the dots and associate the product with the pleasant emotion, increasing the probability to buy it. That's downright manipulation. I sincerely hope Tesla doesn't take that path and restrain from that kind of ads.
@ApertureofmyEye5 жыл бұрын
David Louys thanks. At the end of the day business is business. Companies must use tools they have to sell their product, which in turn provides jobs for people. Compassion is a fine tool to use if it’s genuinely assigned to the product. I made this on my own accord though and my main goal was to sell the idea of autonomous driving possibilities for differently abled individuals not the product itself. Hope that helps.
@davidlouys39525 жыл бұрын
@@ApertureofmyEye Well yes, companies have one goal : that you end up buying their stuff. And that's perfectly fine, I was just underscoring the fact that in order to trigger that behavior, they often bypass critical thinking by relying on emotions. And when they do so through the plight of people they pretend to care about, I find it so outrageous it could in fact decrease the probability that I'll buy their product. Tesla I think could stand out by not relying on the same old sale recipes that define their competitors
