Best thing is to know your strengths and weaknesses, and what fields you are most interested in and learn fastest, start by finding the 2-3 best Multiple Intelligences tests, they don't say anything about how smart you are but your interests and what you are probably best suited to do based on your profile. There Will still be a nede for people in all fields just not as many and often in cooperation with the AI, so the best will still have a chance, unless you are working as a truck drivers of course.

It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about inflation and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

@@yolanderiche7476 True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $80k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I've also honed in on that very same observation. It's fascinating and extremely wise. There's also the other extreme that is quite intriguing, to me, anyway, and that's the 'in the moment', off the cuff, no calculated response or intent, just letting your heart speak, side of the isle. It's raw, candid, and usually very genuine. Elon seems to do both at the same time, interestingly, like a quantum computer. He's a pretty unique character. Mad respect.

@@mddell24 ~ Pausing before answering doesn’t necessarily indicate ignorance. In fact, it can be a sign of thoughtfulness or careful consideration. Elon Musk, known for his methodical way of thinking, often pauses before responding to questions. This is likely a reflection of his desire to give precise and well-considered answers, particularly when discussing complex subjects. In many cases, taking a moment before speaking shows the opposite of ignorance, it shows that someone is reflecting deeply on their response.

Is AI going to solder chips together in a garage and make and market a new computer as Jobs and Wosniak did? Satisfaction in life can be determined by how you live your life, not by your job. I was a production manager in Renault up until Covid, worked in the body shop department. My department prepared side panel pieces that would be introduced to the main production line, just like countless other departments did. There's virtually no AI involved in the manufacturing process. It's very basic and simple programming. Operators places processed aluminum pieces on their stations, maybe weld a small feature or two and feed it to the robotic line. When the pieces is placed, sensors are triggered which activate the program that tells the robot to move to that position, grip the material, move it to a secondary position, release or hold for another robot to weld then go back and repeat the process. The scale of the production line lends itself to the illusion of a spectacular symphony controlled by some AI when in fact it's just a large number of small programs being executed by simple machines to complete a simple task which eventually results in a car. There's virtually no artificial intelligence involved in the process, only human ingenuity and some automated muscle. I can't say with absolute certainty that Tesla factories don't use AI in some shape or form, but they're definetly not using anything on the level that's being discussed around the world right now. That I know for a fact.

We are a educational institute called Pley School. Can we do a translation into Mandarin and share with our parents? This is a very impressive talk and just matches what we want to say to our parents. Ps. The auto generated Mandarin transcription is not correct… And there has been unauthorized version in Facebook video already. We don’t want to share the illegal version, so we hope to get your authority doing the transcription in Mandarin.

When asking about what careers a person should look at. Look at everything ai would be most valuable in. Then look at job areas where a ai just can't be entrusted with that job. Welding for example. You measure, examine, check, double check before using tools to combine two pieces of metal to be one bigger piece. Another example taking care wildlife and children. The value of the connection from another being can't be mimicked by a machine. When that happens it will be decades if not centuries later. For now just know that certain jobs that requires fast typing, proofreading and other jobs that means responding to people will start to fade out. Already if you can't get someone when calling customer service you get a machine that gives you options with limited responses. It won't be long before that changes and you will no longer have a human trying to help customers. If companies are smart they will keep a roster of people for the cases that require a human connection to solve a issue. Machines are not the answer but there are alot of people who may feel differently. I'm really just praying they take the right approach to this.

I think it will be easier to sit back and do nothing but if nothing else there will be full time jobs for everyone to get involved in the governance, debate, policy making and ensuring that AI is put to the best use possible.

fullfilment while AI can do your job faster, is found within social enviroment, it will give space for that certain part of the human nature, as for the creative part or your job, new jobs will always show themselves, and even ones that you never thought could be possible, and ones that fullfill more than the traditional job that you thought is yours, and maybe use AI as a tool rather than an enemy that will take my job, if it does something better than you, use it, and there you go fullfilment is there.

I tell my kids to seek community in the real world. Build families, friends, and tribes. Have experiences. Create experiences. That is the one thing AI will never be able to win. Human to human connection in the real world will always be undefeated.

Elon Musk long silence can be explained by the fact that he had asperger's syndrome (which is a form of autism) as a child. It's a disorder that you never fully get rid of during your adult life. In fact, many of them have a high intellectual level that is far above average because the autistic Asperger has a large number of "favorite" subjects at the center of his interest, as much as he will be able to "fixate" on a specific theme, without worrying about the outside world, especially if it is of interest or not to the other person. This is a large part of what explains why Elon Musk is a GENIUS above all of us!
