Since no one has seemed to know why you were getting crazy lag spikes, it’s because these games are meant for windows, and are being ran on Linux (exactly how a steam deck does it) and when you first boot a game the shaders (programs that run on the graphics card) are being compiled in real time as each shader is needed. This means once you run the game for long enough it eventually compiles all the shaders and caches them and the games will run a lot smoother.

That hub that your using appears to be the same as one that I have owned. That hub may require an additional power supply. If your USB devices continue to give you issues, try a different hub. Also, did you try just the keyboard and mouse alone, to see if the Tesla system recognizes those devices, without the hub inline?

The car's AMD Zen 1+ processor is a quad-core 45W APU with 500kb of L2 cache and 4MB of L3 cache, according to KZbin channel Ingineerix. As for the GPU, the Tesla is equipped with both a dedicated and discrete graphics card based on AMD's Navi 23. Tesla claims their car is capable of offering performance on a par with new-gen consoles.

Highly recommend parking near router or even etherneting it. That’s the gpa drop. It has the same chip as the ps5 so shouldn’t be an issue. Lmk if questions on how to Ethernet it.

It isn't the same chip as the PS5. It's an 6600m, which is the same architecture as the graphics in the PS5 but with significantly fewer compute units (though clocked higher). Additionally the Tesla has an older processor with half the core count compared to the PS5.

Games is a must in most family cars, especially for the back seat. Today's kids don't have a habit of counting cars or watching stuff on the road. not good, but they are hooked onto screens and a long drive isn't their idea of fun.

HW 4 or HW3 both are only meant for the autopilot system. It’s a different set of hardware for the actual entertainment system called the MCU .
