Thanks for the review really helpful. Quick question: what sort of mileage was this model 3 sr+ delivered with from Onto cars? Hoping to get one soon and a little scared it’s going to come with like 20k plus miles. Thanks a lot

Mine was brand new from the port , I would be very surprised if you get one with 20k as they retire cars at 24k I haven't had a car with more than 3k on clock and 90% have been brand new delivery miles only

@@MrHonestEV thanks a lot for getting back to me. That’s excellent news. Have booked my first car with onto! A midnight silver model 3 sr+. Very excited. Hoping it’s nice and new. They say it’s a 2021 so fingers crossed it’s a latest model. Have watched all your model 3 videos and they have been really helpful in making my decision so big thank you again. Am I right in assuming onto now give a physical key with all their cars?

Adaptive cruise control is much safer in my honest opinion. I wish it was standard on all cars and everyone used it. Be far less accidents on the motorway. The rest of the automated stuff I’m not really interested in.

Nice video. Thanks. I do lots of night driving with vision only model 3 bc i work overnight. For the first few weeks of ownership, i used to use autopilot all the time (autopilot was the main reason that I bought Tesla), but I experienced phantom braking every single time. So I just stopped using autopilot and I dont use it anymore... very disappointed and sad lol

yep the phantom braking is scary

Great review. Lane keep assist can be quite useful, but I've seen too many videos showing real life FSD fails for me ever to be convinced by it in a world where not all vehicles play by the same rules. Radar and cameras are not enough whilst there's no telemetry with other vehicles; it also requires intuition. I've yet to find any highly trained or advanced drivers who think it's a good idea.

Heavy snow makes it useless too!

Totally agree with your thoughts on fsd, been driving over forty years, worked very hard on my skills and would not trust a computer algorithm based on a host of other people's driving. Who judges their skills, how experienced were these Guinea pigs? After all that they then allow a vehicle on the road that is prone to random braking, that's unforgivable, as is the apparent inability to see genuine blockages on the road! Improve the skills of humans in cars, improve the infrastructure by creating separate cycle lanes, pedestrian areas. Keep trucks separate from smaller traffic, these are the way to make roads safer. When truly autonomous driving is possible start by giving that traffic its own space too. None of this will happen in my lifetime but I hope for safe cycle routes as modelled by the Dutch to start with. Very interesting video, all the more so because you're the first person to demonstrate as strong opinions about fsd as my own, thanks. 👍

Yep I think people are way too easily distracted these days and all the automation is making it easier for people to lose concentration and ultimately have crashes

Because automation is not a good thing until all vehicles ate following the same protocols

9 cars in have you found a charging network you trust?! As while Instavolt quite near me so wouldn't put me off an EV, don't think I'd trust anyone else. If you can borrow an EV for right price with right range that's not a Tesla you've obviously cracked it.

to be honest I do 75% of my charging at BP pulse 175kw chargers I have some about 15 mins from my house and also I stop on the way home from work in London at another set of BP pulse 175k chargers,I haven't yet had a problem with them like some people have ,the other charger I use more regularly is a shell charger near me.but only 50kw
