I really tested Tesla paint on this repair and wow I was very impressed. I had a feeling this damage would come back out and it was an experiment to help me understand damage like this for the future. I definitely would have done a few moves different but when you're mobile you only have so much time to dedicate to a repair and you gotta go relatively fast. There were plenty of moments when I was not sure of the outcome and that's the risk I take when doing these extreme, but I'm glad I stuck with it and got it done. #pdrrepairs.

I was very pleased with Sal's skill and service. This is my car. For a little background on the dent itself. It was a homeless person kicked my fender....HARD while I was away from the car. I was able to determine that because of the Tesla built in camera. Fortunately there were no sharp hits or cuts in the paint. Sal said it would be tough, but the results were amazing. Nice to see the progress in the video, especially the before and after. I would certainly recommend Sal's service to anyone needing it, and also would endorse the techniques he is teaching because the results speak for themselves.

oh man thank you Brice for your encouragement, I really really appreciate it. I still love the thrill of pushing the limits of a Pdr repair all while enjoying the freedom and fun that comes with the mobile service. Fixing extreme dents is certainly not for everyone and at times it seems there's a bit of insanity in smoothing out all those wrinkles in metal, but the daily satisfaction is truly empowering plus the customers just can't get enough. The greatest mobile business in the world!! Take care my friend enjoy!!

thank you so much I really appreciate it. It is a long video and yet especially made for technicians because I put some nuggets in here for the patient ones to find. Most of my video tutorials in my PDR online course are over an hour long and much of it very similar to this content. Good luck and much success in 2023 Have a very Happy New Year!!

Very well done, and an extremely nice result for what it was . . . if the owners happy, that's what matters, and great the original paint is still on there. Suppose your or the owner had it wrapped again, which could have helped disguise it further. Really curious, how long for that one ? Might have missed it if mentioned in the video, 40 year body shop man, so very poor hearing !

Hi Les thank you for your comment and you can't hide too many flaws on black, I remember that this repair had a very high level of difficulty. It was over a few days if i took out the many breaks I needed to film and handle calls, business admin etc. 2 days is pretty fast in this profession because I didn't make any major mistakes, in Paintless dent repair there is little room for errors because each errant push or slight mistake can add 20-30 minutes to the finish time. This year I'm 30 years in the field of Pdr and many of those years was studying smashes and the first 10 years i couldn't get a result like this. Pdr basically sculpting the metal using only reflection as it passes over the surface, basically knowing what is high and what is low. It can get really confusing when the wrinkles are very busy and the distortion looks hopeless and why it all comes down to how you started the repair. Thanks and be well!

@@dentexperts cheers Sal, yes complex and very often traditional PDR with the light etc can't be used when so messed up, have to work it until a little straighter when you can see it all with less complexity. I did 40 years panel / paint, until picking up PDR about 8 years ago. Doing the bodywork both helps and hinders with PDR, I find it helps with complex work, but hinders because I was used to wanting to just get in and push the dents out fast . . . too fast !! But learning slowly to control myself there, and will never stop learning, new techniques, becoming faster, and better at PDR, it's an awesome path to take in a working career !! All the best with your incredible skills, PDR techs that take the time to do more involved work are true masters of advancing the art.

I never get invited because I’d have to get paid for training. I do a different form of pdr and it’s valuable knowledge outside of what most people are teaching out there.
