Thes something to this. I have the Performance + model (100% “=“ 310), and since the latest update my car’s 100% number has been 296 miles, and it does the same “calculating...” thing that I’d never seen before either, and as shown on your screen. I seriously doubt this is any real degradation (my car has 11,000 miles, had it for less than a year). I’d expect that we’ll see some changes with the next update. There are quite a few members in the Tesla forum voicing the same concerns.

Yea, I agree, I’m sure the battery is good, but it was nice to see the 325 lol

Hi Jonathan. Thank you for the video. I have 2018 model 3 long range. When I charge my car 100% it only showing 280 miles. I need help on how to get close to 310 mile range.

Hi there, the battery with show some degradation over time, it also depends how you charge you battery and how often. It’s best to only charge the battery to 80%-90% and also before charging, let the battery get down to below 20%. You can also do a battery calibration by letting your battery run down as close to zero as you can, but make sure your close to a charging location, then charge it all the way to 100%. It’s healthy for the battery to do a calibration once every 3-4 months to keep the battery healthy and to get the most out of the battery.

I have watched a lot of Model 3 videos over the last 3 years, when the official range was 310 people would usually get between 307-308 and 316 miles. I wouldn't worry too much about that, but I understand it adds a slightly annoying element of "imperfection" to your experience with the car.

I saw Brian at i1 Tesla only charged to 321 also at 100%. Don't know if it means anything and I have not charged to 100% since getting the range increase but the last time I charged to 90% at home, it was 291 miles which is less than the 292.5 that is 90% of 325 but like you said, close enough. I see from your display that the current session charge $ amount owed is $0.00 so you must be one of the lucky free supercharger owners.

Yea, I’m not sure how I got the free supercharging but I’m not gonna complain :) I am a day 1 reservation holder so maybe that was it. Thanks for telling me about Brian, I messaged him about it too.

@@JohnathansWorld I don't think it's the day 1 reservation since I was also. Maybe you used a referral code or we're at a specific Supercharger that's not incurring charges. I've heard some of those exist but I've yet to charge at one.
