Thank you for this video, it helped me immensely with my CoPart Model 3 resto. I need to replace a section of the drivers side rocker and I have found a replacement rocker section of the entire end cap you are removing (on eBay). I need to cut off the rocker at the A and B pillars about the location of the door harness pass-thru and down from the back door to the bottom seam (the dent is below the drivers door and B pillar), I will then have 3 seams to weld. I am toying with the idea of using a seam sealer on those rather than paying to have them MIG welded, your thoughts?

Glad it helped, no you absolutely need to have it welded as the seam will just break. And you want to look Factory finished right? We'll just need a little bit of finishing putty body filler to smooth it out before paint.

@@TeslaRebuilders I am finishing similar projects I had to do both sides and end up replacing right hand side inner and outer wheel wells I have the left side wheel wells and some other part if you want

@@SMHUBE00 Wow I hope you got a really good deal on the car and parts. My car was not even worth repairing but I found the parts car which helps with cost. But there is still a epic amount of labor and materials involved. Thanks I was able to fix mine enough to hook back up, will show in next video.

Hello, if I were to change the title to a rebuild title and get a state inspection, would I be able to supercharge again? If so would I have to take all of that information to Tesla? Also if that doesn’t work, would I still be able to do updates?

You can get a rebuilt title on a salvaged or rebuildable branding. Tesla Disables SC on all Salvaged titles, it won't be turned back on with any inspection currently. You will still get updates and Tesla will sell parts or service it.

Didn't know all those rear structural sheet metal parts were all aluminum, interesting!

Yes the majority of the rear unless it's the quarter panel outer and trunk lid it's aluminum. But everything from the rear glass edge to subframe is steel.
