Great question. In the United States, for a part of the warranty to be voided, Tesla would have to show conclusive evidence that this aftermarket accessory was the reason the part failed on whatever you're looking to be replaced. Example, if your wheel fell off, Tesla could not blame this screen on it, therefore the wheel would be replaced under warranty. Let's say if you scratched the center console "leather" putting this in, Tesla might not replace that under warranty as this part was the reason that the scratch came about. I hope this helps clarify warranties in the USA, but if not, let me know. I'll happily link you to a place that explains in more detail.

any lag with the videos/movies and audio playing through the car speakers?

Not at all. Works really well! Pairing to Apple AirPods Pro’s was a bit difficult though.
