How did it happen, how to find a breakdown.
After washing the car, we went on a long trip. All the way, for 500 km it was raining heavily.
The next day, in the morning, the car opened, and I heard a strange sound in the rear handle. She did not completely leave and for some time continued to buzz.
The handle stopped working to open the door.
The door could only be opened from the inside.
In order to find a breakdown, I dismantled the handles on the left rear door. And on the right door.
I started to change control units, and found a breakdown.
It turned out that the left door control unit was broken.
I moved the control unit from the right to the left door and it worked.
Now the left door is fully working, it remains to order a block and put it on the right door.
I ordered a block together with a pen in Poland for $50, delivery to Slovenia cost $20 and I waited a week.
The most interesting thing is that I traveled with a broken handle for 3 weeks. But as soon as I got a new pen, I saw it. The old pen worked right away.
Probably scared.
I decided to change it anyway.
To replace the door handle, you need to have a screwdriver, a key, preferably with a tri-brush, a knob, a head for 10 and a nozzle, an asterisk for 3 and 5 mm
In the door card we take out the upper rubber plug, a 10 bolt is hidden there
On the left, under the handle, we take out a plastic plug, there are 2 bolts for an asterisk.
This and all the power fasteners of the door card.
Gently squeeze the handle so that it stops. And we snap off the door card, holding it with our hand so that the wires do not come off.
We unscrew the lid, and now you can get to the handle from the inside.
The handle is attached with 4 10mm wrench bolts.
Having unscrewed the nuts, disconnect the connector and take out the handle.
It can be seen that the handle has been converted from the old to the new model.
You can see where it is cut out for the control unit.
We will try to install a new handle.
We rearrange and connect the connectors, we see a misted handle illumination diode. This is not a good sign.
And so, we rearranged all the elements, we will put a new handle.
It so happened that the handle did not fall into place, this is the fact that the door in our car is from the previous model.
There is only one option left, put the old handle back.
We unscrew and change the control unit to a new one.
We install everything in place, and now we need to check that the handle would leave and drive in without errors.
Fasten the lock with a screwdriver. The window has moved. We move away and the handle should come in.
After checking, we set the gap in the handle so that it does not rub against the door.
And we twist everything in reverse order.
Now everything works. We did not see anything complicated in the repair of the rear door handle of the Tesla model from 2018.
Handles differ in fastening and thickness. Therefore, it is very important to know that before ordering a pen. It is necessary to accurately disassemble the door and check the markings on your handle.

А как вынуть ручку если она не до конца заехала!! Не нашел ответа во всем интернете!! Никто не знает как ее запихать обратно чтоб достать изнутри???

На пульте от машины кликаешь один раз на крышу и ручки уходят
