Hmmm, I installed these lights months ago and they somehow prevented the glass from going up and down. My wife ended up closing door with the window up and it messed up the trim. once I put the OEM ones back in, it was fine again. Hmmm

Tesla has an OEM version of these projectors now that you can order in their app. Probably would not cause that issue

That’s very common with “cheap” ones. I don’t mean to disrespect you, I’m just saying not all brands are created equal, or use quality parts. I’ve had mine in for almost 5 years now with zero issues(Abstract Ocean), but a buddy who got some from Amazon? It did the exact same thing you described! (Multiple people on forums have said this as well) I’d definitely buy the official ones from Tesla, cheers 🍻

Did you roll the window all the way down before removing the puddle light? That’s what Tesla manual recommends. The window grounds to that switch somehow.
