The Henson razor ads got me. For anyone considering getting one, they're pretty good. I ended up going down a rabbit hole watching shaving videos. But basically, the shave is pretty mild and fairly hard to knick yourself (it still happens though). Being able to replace the blades regularly for like... Pennies... Is very nice.

Got my model x at the end of Q1! Absolutely LOVE this SUV! BY FAR the most amazing vehicle I’ve ever owned. That said, I am having an issue with the firmware/software and supercharging. The whole computer goes wacky even just preconditioning the battery for charging. But I’m confident Tesla has the ability to fix this issue before I need to take a longer trip in my new, beloved Tesla.

European style Tesla superchargers in USA? I wonder if those new Tesla chargers are designed for use with non-Tesla vehicles too. (Two cables similar to how the European ones are). If that’s the case I’m really curious if they’ll have a mixture of Chademo and Combo connectors. Hopefully plenty of Chademo to give a nod to the early Nissan Leaf adopters! As both a model 3 and a 2014 Leaf owner that would be really cool!
@notes_and_domino_swat_team2 жыл бұрын
The EU Supercharger have only one cable with an CSS plug (usable for M3, Y. X and S only with the CDS upgrade). The old V2 chargers have two cables one with CCS and for the older S and X can use the Tesla modified Menekens plug. There are no station for Chedamo or anything else.
@totallypluggedin2 жыл бұрын
@@notes_and_domino_swat_team Oh OK! Thank you - I'm European and a Tesla owner but live in the USA and have never seen a supercharger in Europe except for online - thank you for letting me know of my incorrect assumption! I am still curious to see how Tesla handles that in the USA though as I connot imagine Tesla owners here would be OK with a CSS plug conversion.

Reduced views because it’s not winter doesn’t seem to make sense.. it’s not like we’re consistently having great weather in most areas yet. Not that I’d miss an episode…It might just be me, but if self reflecting on what makes a video ‘tempting’ to watch, thumbnails with a car is always tempting (sounds dumb to even type). I appreciated your guys’ honest reviews of other EVs in the past. That may not be something you’d be interested in tho. I drove a Volvo c40 the other day, and was surprised how solid it was. You both are trusted sources, and I do find myself wondering, “but what would Zach and Jesse think. 🤔” Great work again guys, and I hope you keep it up. 15:18 Road testers who have driven Teslas in both the USA and Europe have said that Autopilot features are curtailed in Europe. The car drives less confidently and carefree on Euro Autopilot compared to USA Autopilot. One road tester even went onto to say that the "meddling bureaucrats have got to this [autopilot system]." So I can kind of see how that court case came about.

Just to add some clarity to your comments regarding Texas electricity availability. In general most of Texas enjoys reliable and constant grid availability, particularly in Large and modern areas, with the exceptions of large storms and force majeure (act of god). You find more instability in rural and out of the way locations due to aging infrastructure. What the media pounced on regarding ERCOT and the freeze issues in 2021. Were largely avoidable if only ERCOT managed things properly, it made no sense to have so much Maintenance work happening during the times it was known great demand would exist, not counting the fact that no one could have predicted far in advance what the weather would have been like during this time frame, they only had historical precedent to look at. Something else to keep in mind, and this is not just a Texas issue, but large areas of rural America. The power DISTRIBUTION and TRANSMISSION equipment is largely outdated, some of it being over 30 years old. It costs a lot of money to install and maintain this infrastructure in the first place, especially across a large state like Texas. Many sparsely areas of the US are in similar situations, It costs a butt load of money to run new infrastructure and or update existing infrastructure to modern standards. Thus you have more instability in areas like this. This is where you get into issues with upstream/downstream issues and or cascading situations regarding problematic generation sources, or just reliable transmission equipment.

Wow, I'm glad the guy (Kent) didn't damage his Model Y by pulling the stump out. There are much less risky ways of doing it. He can probably reduce the risk for vehicle damage by doing the following: You can get a receiver with a clevis attachment as well as a chain with 2 different hooks: one that hooks onto a chain link (vehicle end) and the other that slip on the chain to create a "choker hold" around the stump. Finally, lay some heavy blankets/towels over the chain, in case it breaks.
@otterylexa44992 жыл бұрын
Also,if you run the chain over a spare tyre, you are then pulling up on the stump which is more effective. I saw it on KZbin somewhere.

Great work Now You Know team! Some bolts appear to be in the upper 20,000 range, but I still find myself not wanting to pay any amount of money unless it’s a Tesla. I’m torn, because while there’re many reasons to get rid of our old ICE vehicles, it’s difficult to spend nearly 50k on a new EV. Driving a relative’s new Niro Ev and test driving a few others makes me realize that even a ~terrible EV (comp to Tesla) is still way better than most ice cars. Considering kids’ 529s are more than a mortgage payment, I’m wishing I would’ve bought a model 3 two years ago! There’s a lot of pent up demand, which is bad for those interested & great for investors. Here’s to hoping ramping of Texas will increase output and supply, lowering prices

If FSD hadn't been "coming soon" or "coming next year" for the last 5+ years, OR if selling or trading in a Tesla with FSD wasn't just wasted money still, maybe I'd maybe have more of an issue with that ruling. But they've literally been stealing all of these years for software that doesn't exist.
