Perfect, to the point with no extra fluff in the video. Much appreciated!

This is a really good explanation. I just did the side of my truckbed. Everything was smooth as hell until I got to the very back bottom corner. I just did not stretch film at all had wicked bunching. Next side I am going to do similar but when I get to that bottom 1/4 I am going to try to stretch like crazy around this corner and not wait to get to the end to deal with it. The upper corner because it was in my face I did pull up and around really hard before I even had the side down. I need to do the same on the bottom.

I give up can even get mine to keep sticking on mine… it’s great stuff if you like doing a paint change as your driving down the road and covering the windshield of the car behind you! using this stuff makes a high quality paint job a walk in the park

Is that avery? I can not get vvivid or aura to not wrinkle doing that. Its constantly pull back up, heat try again, and creates sanding.
@tesbros9 ай бұрын
This is 3M 2080, but very similar to Avery. Hmm. If those are thicker films like chrome or texture, it'll be much harder to do this technique.
@jefffinke82259 ай бұрын
@@tesbros good to know. Thanks
@tesbros9 ай бұрын
@@jefffinke8225 if it’s thicker, I would hold it out loosely from the panel while you squeegee. See if that helps

Hi love the video Im having thiz problem trying to wrap my moms casket. Any pointers on how to start my laying process? It seems like i keep running into the example of your video
@tesbros Жыл бұрын
Make sure you glass everything out, meaning stretch all the material to fit all corners before squeegeeing anything

I have an old pick up truck that has round small windows in the back how would I wrap that specific section
@tesbros7 ай бұрын
Without seeing it, that's a bit hard to answer, but what you would probably do is lay film over the panel, including the window. Glass it out. Install around it, then heat the window concave and use a wrap glove to push the material into the valley

Hi. I've added a square vinyl patch on the roof of my car and there are a few areas along one edge which won't stick down. Can you help?

hard to help without seeing but did any water or debris get under there?

Is there anything else i can use if i dont own a squeegee?
@tesbros7 ай бұрын
You could try a plastic card like a credit card. To avoid scratching the vinyl, wrap the card in a soft cloth or use a piece of felt. You can get some squeegees off Amazon for pretty cheap though!

What about if you have excess? I'm wrapping my rear fender on a mustang and it wraps the brake lights slightly. I'm at a point where there's a bunch of excess. It all looks smooth for the 5' from the door to the back but where it curves down, there's about a 3" x 4" area of wrap that is sticking up that I can't seem to lay down at the very end of where I need to cut. I'm not sure if I explained it well enough, but if u have the time, do u have any advice? Should I just stretch it more little by little? I'll have the same problem on the other side of the car if I can't figure it out

Bro u gotta be using a different brand or maybe it’s a different temp I’m using 3m 2080 at 30 F and nah bro I was doing that and it wrinkled up so I heated it and pulled on it
@tesbrosАй бұрын
We are using the same brand here. But 30 degrees F? That's really cold for vinyl and will make it brittle and not very pliable. Try to wrap around room temp.
