That's a lot of meter for the price, not sure that the installed CAT protection matched the specification though. Seeing a few meters out there using AAAs now, much prefer the AAs.

For household mains it should suffice but yes, I wouldn't put much faith in the CAT rating either.

Hi mate, Good video as usual. Ipurchased an aneng st180 but the ac clamp didn't work properly (always measured very low currently below 1 amp even when shoukd be measuring 10amps). I got a refund and was looking to get a clamp meter with ac and dc current. I looked at your review for the crab meter winapex 268b ($50). I also heard about aneng st213 clamp meter ($40) And also the uni t 210 e for about $80. I'm mainly using for simple hobby is there any one you reccomend. Thanks 😊

Good review. Not bad for $35. I have lots of 4k DMMS including my new Fluke and all three Klein's, That is usually enough, but I do have two meters over 20k. And I don't have a GREEN DMM yet...... or one that does Phase......

It's definitely a cool multimeter Barry.. Wish I could have tested the Phase feature..

Hi darren, been a long time subscriber of yours. I wonder if you can make a detailed review of the MESTEK CM86B clamp meter. Seems very good on other reviews, and i wonder how will it fair with the KAIWEETS HT208D. They seem identical specswise. But very different on their physical appearances. Thank you so much. Everyone's a critic..muhahaha 😅 corrected. I can't test phase in my neck of the woods. Much more common across the pond. Still a cool feature 😎
