Great refresher! When I teach students about guessing the meaning of words from context, I create example sentences and paragraphs that contain nonsense words, and the students have to discern the meaning of the nonsense word. That way, they practice the skill with no risk that it's a word they already know, or a word they can look up. Their only option is to find the meaning based on the context.

Lovely Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Bonaliyar Bizarre Blaster (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good exclusive guide for teaching your child to read without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend Sam finally got astronomical results with it.

Thanks for this, it was actually very concise and a good overview. For someone new to the game it at least consolidated some of the main points in a simple way. Much appreciated BRO.

This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "reading comprehension skills for kindergarten" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Miyohn Keybigail Idea - (just google it )? It is a great exclusive product for learning how to teach your child to read without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 got excellent results with it.

Reading is one of the four macro-skills and, thus, teaching reading is crucial . I agree that using authentic texts in the classroom exposes students to authentic language and facilitates learning but the use of simplified texts also has some benefits. Isn't the use of both authentic and non-authenitc texts better than the use of authentic or simplified texts only?

Hi there, I am not sure if my method is totally perfect. For me,first I give the student general idea about the lesson. Then I put the new vocabulary in sentences and ask them to guess the meaning of the words and match them with the correct definition below.after that I explain to them the new words more and give them more examples. then I ask them to give me examples using the new vocabulary. now it is time for comprehension questions I give at least 2 question and I ask them to find the answer by scanning the text. After that we answer these Q.s together. Then I ask them to read the text loudly we do this 2 times only. finally I give them extra exercises like writing sentences, discussing some topics and so on. so,please, tell me your opinion because , honestly, I am looking for new ideas and methods.

Thanks for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Millawdon Future Ticket Trick (just google it)? It is a great exclusive guide for teaching children to read minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my old buddy Taylor at very last got excellent results with it.
