Tess of the D'urbervilles is generally regarded as Thomas Hardy's tragic masterpiece, and certainly it is his most ambitious tragic novel. It is a story of innocence and sophistication, of man of nature, and of history and its relation to the present, concentrated on the fate of a simple country girl named Tess Durbeyfield.
The full Title of the novel is Tess of The D'urbervilles : APure Woman Faithfully Presented. The Novel is written in 1880 and it is Published in 1891.
