I can see that they enjoy their time together in the rink like they are kids having a ball. They are both addicted to skating and their craft so they feed on each other’s addiction this way!

Really good dancers are, also, really good actors. Their performance portrays characters that must convey a story. Any time your performance is tied to the performance of another person, a special bond is formed. Love watching this couple skate!!

All ice dancers are actors. We know they're telling a story and they delineate the characters assigned to them. What's unique about Tessa & Scott is that they've convinced the whole world that their"act" is for real. That doesn't happen with the other ice dancers. After their 4 minute program we forget about them. But with T&S we stay and stay and fantasize about them. That's the MAGIC they have. The magic that drives us to wish for that real love & affection between them. But now we know it was all wishful thinking. Scott has dashed our dreams to smithereens with his engagement . Maybe they're married by now. Gone is the magic that they lavished on us for 22 years. Watching all these videos still make me wonder: who is really fooling who?

Maybe they are like a lot of married people or long-time partners after 22 years maybe they have just outgrown each other. I think Scott just wants to get married settle down and have kids. Tessa seems to want a different way she is highly educated. Maybe she wants something different. Maybe they realized the fans loved them more because they thought they were in love, and it became part of their identity. The type of dance skating they did it was just a fact they would be having their hands all over each other. Maybe when they were kids and teenagers they thought they were in love. I think Scott had stronger feelings for Tessa. They will probably always have fond memories and feelings for each other. After they retired and no longer had skating to keep them together, they realized they as adults didn't have much in common anymore. It happens just lay it to rest.
