I had a relationship like that once. It was ethereal and confusing. It was beyond friendship and romantic love. I can’t described it any other way. We were never technically a couple, but we also were. It was like something next level. Like flying. Braking away from something so special is a profound loss. Somehow in their head it's like they think they are going to jinx their goals, their skating if they publicly revealed that they are a couple, in love and deeply! It's OBVIOUS with anyone working with a full deck that they are in love with one another but apparently they did not feel secure enough to reveal that to the world. I can only hope that since they have achieved the Olympic Gold medal that they grow to another level where speaking about it will be liberating because I believe that the reason so much attention is given to their "relationship" is because they have made it awkward by not clarifying albeit their choice for whatever reason to guard it but love is love and when it's genuine and deep you can't hide it because it just oozes out when they are together and/or speaking about one another. Since this is a video titled, “no matter what, I love you” I want to answer 14 7’s question of where that quote came from: Actually Scott says it to Tessa before the short at the 2014 Olympics I think. They weren’t being romantic, but it’s super sweet. See the video link. They were feeling like they were on their own and not getting the support they should have.
