The final version we saw at the Olympics was great. Dramatic, well executed, and befitting the event. But part of me likes this version too, it's more gritty and nuanced, and emotional. For being so early in that season this was a pretty good performance.

I agree with your comment about a better current performance of Moulin Rouge, because, probably , in the present exhibition, Scott and Tessa would be more relaxed, and feeling less responsibility on their shoulders, compared to the greater pressure they would have felt during their performance at the 2018 Olympics.

I have to admit they are the best pair ever, even better than my all-time favorite Klimova & Ponomarenko. What makes them so special is they are extremely well balanced. I have never seen this kind of balance in any other pair, not even in my most loved Russian pairs. Usually you can find one partner stronger than the other except V/M. I love watching them as a pair or as individual, and I don't get disappointed either way. They have won me over :D

They are equally musical, nimble and their choreography is always very intricate and interesting. And, of course, both just ooze charisma. It is a heady combination.

I remember being disappointed with this program at first, but then they went and reworked the music cuts and changed some of the choreography and it was absolutely stunning at the olympics. It is definitely now one of my all time favorite programs and I even like this version of it now as well. They are seriously the GOAT!

Wow. It's amazing how much the change in the ending music between here and the Olympics changes the feel of the entire program. Of course, you also can't go wrong with a spectacular, exuberant lift.
