Claudia Peregrina but honestly, I'm not trying to defend the "winter fashion police" but in the whole time i was on youtube, which is like 7 years by now, I've seen ONE video, that was actually proper for a cold winter. It is frustrating, because in some countries you only leave the house in such warm clothes from november till beginning of march, and you feel so bored because you look the same all the time. And than these youtubers come out, living in florida and shit and they wear open leather jackets and you ask yourself "what am I supposed to do with that??" For me those are not winter outfits, they are fall outfits. At least they cold write "for warm winters" in the title.

But if their winter season isn’t as cold as in other places, why would they do an outfit of the week that doesn’t really apply to their situation? What I mean is that there are many places where “winter” doesn’t really imply “freezing cold” and those people ( counting myself in xd) also have the right to get ideas. To sum up, winter is the season between december and march ( at least in the north pole) and during this period people from many different places experience many different types of weather so I don’t see why only the places with a really cold winter should be the only ones entitled to these kinds of videos. I live in a warm weather and I most likely never have to wear the type of outfit people demand from her so I really aprecciate the ideas I get from the videos🤗

You’re entitled to feel angry about your winter experience, but you can’t hold it against anyone for show casing winter outfits you don’t think are “cozy” compared to the blizzard weather of your country when Tess lives in an area that experiences sunlight during the winter. I’m sorry you can’t wear anything cute until Spring because of your area’s climate. Tess’s outfits may be “warm weather” appropriate for you, but do keep in mind that if she could find trendy puffy jackets suited for snow and colder weather, she would definitely let us know. The truth however, is that when in extreme cold weathered area, you wear whatever super bundled item you can find. Cute or not, you’ll throw it on to keep warm. She’s not claiming NYC to be the coldest place ever, so accommodate to your needs. And if you can’t, just take it as inspiration for a day when you can wear something like what she show cases. I live in Arizona, and we don’t have seasons. Winter only lasts a few days, and by that I mean it’s barely at 60 degrees sometimes. Despite that, I love watching her “winter wear” videos because the second it is remotely fresh enough for me to throw on a jacket or wear anything cozy, Tess’s wardrobe videos have helped :-)

You know what is so amazing and important about Tess on KZbin.... her videos never a disappointment. It’s actually rare and a statement to her fashion sense, that I will go back to videos she posted last winter (or summer) or a year ago for inspo. Trends are ever changing but her videos always manage to engulf trends while showing her personal style. Tess you are my fashion icon for sure, i would wear every outfit but what’s new? I live in Northern Illinois and I'm visiting NYC right now and I would say all of these outfits are pretty winter friendly in both areas. Once it gets colder just zip everything up and layer sweater tights under all your pants! Winter fashion police act like every winter day is -254 F.

The thing about your winter looks is, like you said, warm and wesrable some days and other days you wear the puffy coat, hat, etc but whose to say that you cant wear these outfits under your coats? Youll still see the outfit throughout the night when inside. I love this video, your style never lets me down.

I'm so annoyed when people complain about winter outfits. I live in Finland so all these outfits would suit better for fall than winter but I'm not complaining because I know that where she lives the winter is not as cold. These ideas can always be adapted, just adding a warm hat, warmer coat, some knitted socks etc. I guess some of the complains might just be as a joke but serious complaints, I mean come on. Loved this video, these are always my favourite! The outfits were awesome!

These outfits seem realistic for NYC. You don't even have snow on the ground in most of the clips. I would even wear some of these on warmer days here in Ottawa Canada, where we get snow in Dec and it stays several feet deep until spring, so....right on!
