I think I watched this video once and then forgot about it, and now I'm just amazed how that could happen? This is probably the Tesseract song I have listened to the most number of times (or at least the one I have spent the most amount of time listening to - Concealing Fate Part 4: Perfection is so short I may have listened to it more times during my several periods of playing it on repeat) and this video is just such a good visual representation of the song. Why did I not realize how great it was the first time I watched it? I suspect the video is supposed to have some deeper meaning, especially considering how the lyrics keep referring to fire. But can we talk about how good this also is as a demonstration of what synesthesia can be like? The colours and the shifting intensity of them is so close to my synesthetic experience of this song.

This is my favorite song of 2018. I get goosebumps and chills every time it kicks in and they multiply each time that amazing breakdown hits- which just gets better and better each time it's repeated. I'm a prog drummer and listening to TesseracT's polyrhythms is enjoyable...but totally frustrating trying to figure out what's going on. It's a compelling combination of free-form ad-libbing but having a solid structure beneath it all. It's a totally unique drumming style. The rest of the music and songwriting is great too.

Follow the crash. Even during the crazy part. It goes into a triplet feel - it's like a "setup" for the rest of the song's tempo-change, it's just the bass and guitar parts doesn't make it sound that way. The crash is the quarter note.
