I saw TesseracT live a few months ago and they were absolutely phenomenal. They are musicians at a world class level. Dan was the one who stood out the most. It really bummed me out when they didn't play this song. Seeing this cover makes me feel like I saw them performing it. This literally brought tears to my eyes. I felt the emotion in your voice. I didn't expect for ANYONE to cover this song so wonderfully. Outstanding job, man.

I never thought I would see the day where I heard a cover of a tesseract song and liked it better then when Dan Tompkins does it. To be clear Daniel Tompkins is my vocal hero and I would kill to be anywhere near as good as he is. This is just astonishing though. You are really incredible. This also makes me a little sad that Dan's voice wasn't a bit more prominent in the original. I've always felt like it was a little bit concealed under layers. Still, I don't think he would manage as much emotion as you have here.

Wow. I just randomly found this. This is also my favorite track off of Polaris but I gotta tell you, the first time I heard this song, I burst into tears. Tesseract kind of takes me there, you know.
