Well that makes sense, i've spent the last two days trying to learn this from the video, constantly going "Huh, wtf?" Knew SOMETHING funky had to be going on. Since i've started playing guitar, i've always wished the scale went to H not G. I've wanted to try DEDHEAD tuning on my 7 for ages.

@@Dyingwood. yea, it got me thinking too, cuz Tesseract has changed so much with the flip flop with singers and then the changes in Polaris and Sonder that had some fans saying they "changed too much" from their sound that was in One and Altered State, that it's like a war in artists to just put out what makes them happy. I also saw the lyrics as commentary on the digital world as well. I looked at what Dan said about the lyrics somewhere and yeah it can definitely resonate in different ways

They always have been. Total Professionalism, dedication to honing a craft in a very thoughtful and particular way. They dont even have to hype new material, we do it for them. One note, one measly reverb trail, or a single bend, thats all it takes, and you can tell it's tesseract. Their guitar tone alone hits like a fucking planet with it's fangs drawn like a wolf.

I liked the way Erra released their song Shadow Autonomous. They released tabs but no actual song to see what guitar players could come up with and what the song might sound like. I hope they do that again, it was really unique and cool to see

I really just do not understand how their guitar tone is so sick. It's like a damn fractal, i can listen to a single note being bent a half step, over, and over, and over again, and i still cant find the bottom or ceiling of that sound. And the sicker the system i push this song through, the more bottomless this guitar tone feels. It has no bottom and no ceiling. It's like endlessly zooming in on a mandelbrot set, or starring into space from the top of a mountain or something. Wow isn't a "wow" enough word. I thought i had some sick self-dialed presets going recently. But this guitar tone just makes them literally feel like plastic or something. What the fuck... 0.o

It sort of is, it's like Open drop A but the 7th is a G# instead of an A. Fretting the 4th fret of the 6th string makes an octave with the open 7th string
