This is great rare footage! I've seen Tessie perform her signature song on Ed Sullivan, "Two Ton Tessie", but I've never seen this appearance before. Thanks for posting it! Tessie was starring in "The Girl Who Came to Supper" on Broadway at the time and I'm guessing this might be a scene from the show. I see that Buster Keaton was also on this episode, which would be cool to see too!

great performances of comediants and sigers, but some good performances are only 1 or 2 minutes when they are longer than that. Where are the PLATTERS, THE TURTLES, NEIL SEDAKA, THE YOUNG RASCALS OR MORE COMPLETE ROCK N ROLL ACTS???
