For me, it is an excellent entry into the C world (coming from a Hook 3). It is more lively, you feel the air much better. The only thing I had to get used to was the brakes...A bit too tiring. I would have liked Advance to propose an XS... The Sigma 9 is really easy to inflate and it will not surprise you, very soft. The light thermals are a real pleasure. It is almost similar to the Delta 2 in terms of performance (slightly under), Ears remain stuck but little pumping will unstuck them. Overall, it is a very good glider who makes you feel confident espescially as it is your first glider... (I am at 72 for a 65-85 / 23 m2)

frenchtiger Ah how I miss the beautiful Annecy! How responsive were the brakes.. you say too tiring but are they direct?

Well after 60 hours under the Sigma 9, I got used to the brakes. Direct turn, I can turn very precisely, and even in a very narrow space; that's not a problem. brakes are also responsive. But it is true that compared to a Niviuk, the brakes are a bit different (I would say less immediate). For advance, I suppose it is also a question of being "safer".
