If you mount the cylinder to free both hands, an extension to your tool would allow you to guide the burr from both ends of the cylinder. The thought is to add some fine control when working on the transfer exits. I have a dental mirror on mine, at first to work on small chainsaw cylinders. Added a cheap endoscope looking at the mirror later and found the adjustable LED helped too. Just a few thoughts while watching your progress. Take care and thanks for experimenting.

Nice idea ... maybe make the same, using 2 aluminum plates, each the thickness of a bearing... put that O-Ring and pulleys, between those 2 plates .. bolt plates together with standoffs .... now your O-Ring / Pulleys won't be banging into your cylinder when porting .. and then you can concentrate only on the cutting bit .. while trying to avoid gouging your cylinder wall by accident, which is as you know, very easy to do, ouchhhh!

+hank burton Thanks for the tip! Sadly tho, the available 90deg dremel attachments are too large to fit into small cylinders.
