I think 88-91 blazers had that type of front ends and you could easily hang one those front ends on an older 73-87 truck and body lines matched up.

It was the suburban, and crew cabs that continued until 1991. Regular cabs ended in 1987.

The squarebody ended in 87 in the US. Mexico carried it over until 91. New parts, they were built in the now extinct Chevrolet factory in Mexico

It was definitely a 91 in Mexico. You can tell the difference by the front grill and lights. The same grill in lights from the suburban and k5 blazer of that era which has still a square body at the time. We got the new body style or what’s now the one on 87. Mexico got it in 92
