Although the 6-speed transmission is not as fuel efficient as a CVT, they're more reliable. Most people want that fuel economy which is understandable but CVTs aren't the greatest, especially in the long run. Glad Hyundai stuck with the 6-speed automatic.

I'm glad Hyundai still using 6 speed automatic on some of their cars. CVT transmissions are junk.

foward collission avoidance in SE trim doesn't work ( i followed the manual instructions). Still waiting a call from Hyundai customer service. Keep lane assistant works great.

Can you feel much a difference 2.0 vs 2.4 engine?

I personally haven't driven both on the road, but from driving them around on the lot I can tell you that I did not feel much of a difference especially because of the 20HP difference.

Sport mode helps with the 2.0 liter, otherwise it’s sluggish.

I think that 161 horsepower is underpower for a compact suv like tucson. civic and corolla will have almost or better horsepower figures in 2019. those are sedans not a suv

Well this is only helpful when MPG is the most important thing to a customer who wants a slightly larger vehicle. If you wanted more power then a Santa Fe would be the one!

@@UniversalHyundaiOrlando yes I blew it...really needed the Santa Fe and bought the Tucson....that sits I'm my garage and I am still driving my 2004 GLS 6 cycle Santa Fe...because I love it soooo much and the Tucson just doesn't cut it for me...huge mistake. now I have to pay for it...tears...
