Ended!!!! Police cars were converted, this time I used different cars from the TD6 list.
I'm still going to mess with the wheels of cars and their sound, I just have to deal with the limitations of the game...

Impressive! I miss this game. I hope this gets a fan remake in Unreal Engine too. I enjoyed these cop mission back then, just because you get to play as a cop

Damn, never thought I'd see car models in game that looked good, lol. The Diablo and Corvette Cop Cars look pretty good.

Can not believe this was 4 years ago.BTW modding for TD old games was not that popular ,ever.Could not find forums or other sites that would be interested in modding this games.Played TD Overdrive recently and it is interesting.

I kinda messed with the engine sounds in TD6 :P (some of these are used from my TD5 stuff, but these engine sounds need alot of work)

TD6 has a ridiculous limitation, for example: the Viper GTS, Viper GTS-R, Jaguar XJ220 and Ford F-150 use the same engine sound, if I change the sound of one, it changes the sound of the four. Other cars in the game are also like this, 3 or 4 cars share the same sound file.

@@allefalmeida7235 Only if... someone finds a way to edit the code as if the engine sounds will be seperated, like the F150 can have the V8 engine sound, Jaguar XJ220 having its own turbocharged V6 sound, and Vipers might have a seperated engine sound (Viper GTS will have a lower toned engine, while the Viper GTS-R will have a higher, but a little louder engine)

@@kevinsomosot9976 These things are all coded inside the TD6.exe. You can change it with a hexadecimal editor, but a wrong change, and TD6.exe stops working.

Why you putted a 2002 Corvette C5 (Z06) and a 2001 Diablo VT 6.0 from NFS HP 2, because for me, these are not the right models for the game, since they are later models and are not related to the other cars of the time. I would recommend change those police cars for the next ones: - Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R - Dodge Viper GTS - Jaguar XKR - Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) I chose them thinking them well and based on the style of the original game and TD Overdrive 2002, besides they are cars that are available as racer, as it happens in the original game. In addition, it would be much better for all police cars to have the black and white paint of US police cars, so that way they would be standardized to any track location.
