Great to watch Thierry, the way you capture is magnificent. Picked up this lillte gem of a camera yesterday, went straight outside as soon as i could to film. I am right at the start of this hobby, in October i hope to capture Venice with all of it's magnificance. The basics of film and the golden rules i know, working with a tripod, the object moves and not the camera. And watching people like you are inspirational and educational, thank you.

Merci pour ces images. Je suis bluffe par le niveau du détail de cette camera en voyant le gros plan de deux chats. C'est drôle je viens de passer la semaine passe a Berzé le chatel prés de Mâcon. Tres belle région bourguignonne. Je pense que vais me l'offrir cette camera pour remplacer une vieille Panasonic HDC-SD9.

Très belles images, musique choisie, montage simple et efficace. Professionnel donc. Belle pub pour panasonic. J'hésitais jusque là vous m'avez convaincu, vous accordant, au bénéfice du doute que c'est bien tourné avec un panasonic hc x920 ou 929.

:) On vous rassure, d'abord on ne touche rien sur ce test, mais on est flatté que vous pensiez que c’est une pub… On devrait être richissimes vu le nombre de pubs qu’on réalise ! :) En réalité, notre métier, ça s’appelle « testeur » ou « journaliste spécialisé » . Certains journalistes adoptent les tests en laboratoire, on préfère pour notre part tester les produits en conditions réelles… Quant au tournage, on vous remercie pour le bénéfice du doute. Hi! Hi! Je connais votre site que je visite souvent. Pardonnez ce vice (la provocation facile) lié à mon mode de vie (vivre en Afrique a été une erreur) en recul. Par contre belle réactivité surprenante dans ce monde ou la communication n'est généralement qu'un mot, pas un comportement. Il n'empêche que cette vidéo m'a vraiment étonné par sa qualité. J'utilise actuellement une sony pj650 et, lors de mon prochain voyage en France, j'envisage d'acheter un autre caméscope, probablement celui-ci (hc x920?), à cause ou grâce à vous. J'espère mieux m'en sortir avec les fonds verts et les prises de vue nocturnes, grâce à une plus grande sensibilité du capteur. J'essaie avec un "copain" local de mettre en place une de ces nombreuses chaînes sur youtube et nous avons créé un site très sénégalais senewcomtv.com dont la critique m'intéresse beaucoup. Nous avons même l'ambition (utopique?) de créer une chaîne de télé locale, et pour commencer il nous faut un caméscope fiable mais pas trop cher, d'où l'intérêt de votre vidéo. Merci donc.

Actually, it has a microphone input jack, so you can add an external mic. Just not a hot shoe attachment like some camcorders.

Your camcorder looks flawless. Have you checked out the Chromatic Aberration or Purple Fringing at full tele-zoom because the consumer HD camcorder is likely having this issue? Merci beaucoup!

bonjour thierry, super review. J'hésite entre le X920 et le sony HDR-PJ650VE. Objectif : filmer du sport à la plage (surf/kitesurf) donc le stabilisateur est TRES important. Qualité d'image top bien sûr. Tu me conseilles quoi?

What would be the best choice between Panasonic HC-X920, Panasonic HC-VX870, Panasonic HC-WX970, Sony HDR-PJ810E or Canon Legria HF G30? It's really hard to determine which one is best. Also the HC-VX870 has the same price as the HC-X920!
