You need to put 2 or 3 cups of water under the blade of the machine then the peelings will just dissolve into the water and you can pour it into the sink easily.

yes add some water indeed not much needed but enough to lubicate blades as irt peels potatoes

You need to read the user manual before you use this or any other machine. You need to add water in the bowl before you peel off anything. You can use the machine for up to 1.2 kg of potatoes, you don't need to put 2 or 3 pieces at a time. You need to remove the table cover which is obviously causing a lot of inconvenience, just common sense.

I would put the potatoes in the microwave for a couple of minutes to loosen the skin before peeling with the machine. Also, remember to put a couple of cups of water in the machine, too.

That's only necessary for sweet potatoes. I have one and it works well without that

It's more for small new potatoes, which you can just rub the skin off anyway. It was like putting 3 stones in.
