The place you are flying, very flat, if you can fly or drive close to the mountains or hills, they will offer nice thermals mid day in the heat of the sun. Also, if you can get in a place where the wind is blowing towards you, and you are on the top of a hill, you can throw the glider out into the wind and with the motor off, do some ridge flying, all along the ridge of the hill as the wind hits it and goes up for a few hundred feet. Ridge flying is also a fun way to fly as you don't need any thermals to help out!! Happy Flying

Awesome Pete! Albert Kim showed this plane can be bound to the Jumper T12 under the WLTOYS protocol. You could slap your micro vtx on and go for a long range run👍🏻

Good job. I flew mine on my channel twice last fall and found it a lot of fun too. Now you must get into larger gliders where you can fly all day if the thermals are good ha ha! Happy Flying

I still need a lot to learn about fixed wings and thermals. So far I have tried a lot of XK products and they all seem to be pretty good but this one is the best one thus far. I'll go stick a aio vtx and go FPV next!! :)

It will take an AIO on the fuselage above the wing roots too. It's a low wind flyer only though.

Yes, it is the Milpas rd. field where I do my distance tests. You have about 2km of open field!!

20 minutes? A $90.00 quadcopter with 1080P/60F camera runs 30 minutes and you have an IN THE SEAT headless view from your cell phone screen. Planes have a LONG way to go to get as popular. Not impressed but thanks for the video since I know what NOT to buy.

fixed-wing. not `fixed wing` . a `fixed wing` means, a wing that has been fixed, repaired or modified. a fixed-wing means a wing thats been fixed into place or secured to a fuselage. now ya know. :-D
