Thanks! I used premiere pro, only cause I know it well. But I just shot in Slog 3 Cine EI, I use a Phantom LUT on the monitor using waveform on the Ninja V. For me, if I get it where I want it in camera, then grading is alot easier for me.

the color changed from what i used to see when converting log to rec709, did you grade this yourself ?.....and the exposure is very neutral, it preserves the skies

I keep it pretty simple, I just shot in Slog 3 Cine EI, I use a Phantom LUT on the monitor using waveform on the Ninja V. I’ve found if I get it where I want it in camera, and like the look of it there, then the most I may have to adjust in post is contrast and maybe highlights here and there.

@joshlacount which version of phantom lut, the neutral one, the +1 stop, or the +2 stop version ?

@@bromoboyI used the neutral, If the shot is a bit over exposed then I use the legacy, but if it’s exposed right in camera then the regular neutral works for me.

@@bromoboy now that I think about it, I actually may have used the bleach phantom LUT in this mix a few times, I’d have to double check, but most of the time the neutral.

CA and Sharpness seems to be greatly improved compared to the A-Set I owned. May I ask you at what T-Stop you shot those tests ?

@@Horizons_Roses it varied, some of the footage I shot on a very overcast day so I was able to play around with the stops a bit more, I plan on filming more this week for another video and I’ll make note of the stops this time.
