Test for Colour Blindness

Dr Shinobu Ishihara introduced in 1917-almost 100 years ago-the most well known color blindness test. Each of his tests consists of a set of colored dotted plates, each of them showing either a number or a path. Since then this is the most widely used color vision deficiency test and still used by most optometrists and ophthalmologists all around the world.
Ishihara Color Test Instructions:
1. Sit approximately 75cm from your monitor, with each circle set at eye level.
2. Preferably have mild natural light and no glare on your screen. Interior lights and glare can alter the color of the pictures.
3. Attempt to identify the hidden number or line within 5 seconds.
4. Share the test with your friends!

My unkle is colour blind And i have glasses so ithink im also a colour blind but i passed this test 100% And i fulfill.the dreams of my unkle of joining army....... My unkle passed their exams after hardwork of 5 years but only because of colour blind ness they are not a army officer 😭🥺🥺

what doctor said to me its common to see in male to have the gens of being color blind. Don't be surprise guys haha Now i wish the doctor told me how to see 20/20 with out glasses. I would be happy. I am blind as a bat.

It depends on the shade, the distance you watch the plates, etc. There are various levels of colour deficiency. You need to take an anomaloscope test to determine the exact status of your color deficiency. But there is no such thing as colourblindness. In that case you would only see things in black and white.
