what a standard of cube moulds that have more than 5mm gap down side. IS 10086 specify ± 0.2mm tolerance. Are these standard moulds?

@@yd_engineer420 more compaction is fine. Less is not good. Minimum of 35 for 150mm (6inch) cubes. 25 for 100mm (4inches)

No. In slump cone test you should 25 blows in 3 layers but in cube mould it will be 35 blows in 3 layers.

35 tamps per layer minimum in 150mm mould, 25 in 100mm mould. Using a tamping BAR not a rod.
