Not very good on this one, I'm afraid, but enjoyed it all the same. A person of royal birth is said to have blue blood, but don't believe it, if they bleed, they bleed red just like everyone else.

It has to do with the fact that royalty /nobles used to not go into the sun and walked under a sunscreen, so their skin would stay pale and the veins look blue through the skin; hence the blue blood...

Hi Sam. Not really. When I created the channel I was looking for a unique name. Not something with the word "Quiz" in it, as most channels do. The aim was to create a channel that "deters boredom". So a bit of playing with words, and some Google Translate (Latin), I came up with the name. I know boredom in Latin is taedium, but I didn't want something that can be associated with "tedious" 😁. So we have "Detor" meaning giver, and "Mentis" which means "Of the Mind", in latin. Very grandiose 😂🤣😂, though very incorrect. "Giver of the mind" should be dator animi in latin. And no, I don't speak latin, so this was all Google Translate dependent.
