Hey Dan love your videos I have a question What would be your approach for accessibilty testing of website/ webpages I number of videos say first automated test with tools like lighthouse then go manual My request is what Daniel will use ( which specific tool please be specific axe or wave or teno or light-house) or couple of them together and manual what will be ur approach Can u please share ur chklist Lot of same chk list on web( all have copy pasted from deque or some top 3 provider)

Hi, glad you like my videos. If you want to work on A11Y testing, I would never start with automation. Makes no sense. First take your time and define against which of the A11Y requirements you want to test. Which impairments your users have. Based on that info, you can use tools such as lighthouse or wave to see how your current product is handling A11Y. But do this manually. Explore the product with the help of the tools. If you know the issues and problems, talk to your product manager, developer to tackle the topics. Once all of this is implemented you can think of automation. See how automation can support your A11Y testing. I don't have a specific check list to share, because it's always individual when it comes to A11Y. Please check www.w3.org/TR/WCAG22/ they already provide some list and points to consider! Happy Testing

If you had to choose between Tricentis and QAlity Plus, which would you choose? Or a completely different one that you use in your projects?

Thanks you for your video, it helped me a lot! Your explanation was really great. I'm currently looking for a tool integrated with JIRA to manage our tests. I checked QAlity's pricing and it says it's free for up to 10 users. Do you know if each JIRA user counts towards the number of QAlity users? For example, on our team there are 11 JIRA users, but only 3 of them will need to use QAlity. Thanks a lot!
