You're full of it if these sound muffled I also have the platinum G2 and these are more open than the G2 but the G2 are phenomenal sounding as well but they have definitely improved them. and that could be because of the wiring not the speaker.

if you think these sound lifeless you're full of shit I have the monitor audio platinum 200 ll and these definitely do sound a little better a little bit more open than three-dimensional but they're definitely not lifeless I don't know what kind of BS you're hearing
